She was predeceased by: her parents, John David Lawson and Lenna Corelle Lawson; her husband Sam Chilton; her granddaughter April Stuart; and her brother John T. Lawson.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Chilton (John), Kay Gunnell (Johnny) and Kenneth Chilton (Cathy); her grandchildren, Hunter Stuart (Olivia), Jason Baines (Kimberly), Brandon Gunnell (Danielle) and Jessica Cuningham; her great grandchildren, Jackson, Andrew, Sifer, Corbin, Lilly and Ryder; and her caregiver Catherine Pickering.
Memorial donations may be made to Wilroy Baptist Church or Middle Swamp Baptist Church.
