It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martin Campbell Tinkham of Suffolk, Virginia, who passed away on February 28, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Cleveland and Frances Darden Tinkham; and his wife Patricia "Pat" Anderson Tinkham. He is survived by: his children, Robin (Mark Harris), Lisa (Mark Clements), Christopher (Sheila) and David (Dawn) of Windsor, VA.; his grandchildren, Taylor (Ethan), Austin, Christina, Jason and Tyler; his brother Ralph Tinkham (Carol); his siblings-in-law, Raymond Anderson (Sylvia) of Williamsburg, VA and Connie Yilmaz (Koray) of Treasure Island, FL; Ryker.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church Building Fund.
