It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael L. Callahan of Suffolk, Virginia, born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on April 30, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Leo and Clara Bell Callahan (Gorman); his wife Mary Frances Leach; and his son John Leo. He is survived by: his children, Mary Anne Callahan, Mary Therese Callahan (Doug Strehlow), Mary Patricia Callahan (Bob Wislinski), Mary Catherine Callahan (John Moore) and Daniel Joseph Callahan (Lora); and his daughter-in-law Beverly Kuhn Hoyer (Dave Hoyer). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
