She was predeceased by : her husband Garfield P. Assevero. She is survived by : her children, Sherwin (Alicia), Lincoln (Michelle) and Arlette (DeShawn); her brother Harold Liverpool; her grandchildren, Devon, Dalia, Abiel, Eketa, Nicolette, Jonathan, Anissa, Verron, Rayne, Isaiah and Cheyenne; and her great grandchildren, Christopher, Christian, Caylene, Victoria and Elizabeth. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and over 20 God children.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the R. W. Baker & Company Funeral Home and Crematory (509 W Washington St, Suffolk, VA 23434).
