He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary E. Boone Boone and Johnnie B. Boone; his daughter Karen Eley; and his siblings, Emily Boone, Mary M. Boone, Margrit Booth, Alice Robinson, Martha Hall, Johnnie Boone, Alexander Boone, Wendell Boone and Calvin Boone.
He is survived by: his children, Ocie Lee Boone, Angela A. Shannon and Michael Holliman; his sisters, Syroa Milteer (Zachariah) and Sandra Boone; and his siblings-in-law, Helene Boone and Joseph Booth. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
