She was predeceased by: her parents, James Richard Allen and Sara Alice Sagraves; her son Brian Barrett Cox; and her siblings, Jenice Kopczynski and James Richard Allen, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Jesse Harcum; her daughter Jennifer Cox Myers (Dan); her granddaughters, Sara Brianna Whitley (Wesley), Samantha Carroll Prue (Derek), Dana Jewel Myers, Evelyn Clark and Cheyenne Freeman; her stepchildren, Jessica Honeycutt, Laura Harcum and Jesse Harcum, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Caroline, Mason, Adeline, Jackson and Cohen; her sisters, Christine Stacy and Suzanne Shroeder; her caregiver Denise Brown; and her pet Daisy Mae. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Holy Neck Christian Church (4400 Holy Neck Rd, Suffolk, VA 23437). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Holland Cemetery (6668 Co Rd 612, Suffolk, VA 23437).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Holy Neck Church building fund.
