She is survived by: her children, Lorie Boone Collins (Rathmond III) of Suffolk and Vincent Andre Maxwell of Brooklyn; her brother Marvin Nelson Boone (Diane) of Murfreesboro; her sister-in-law Hilda Boone of Gates; her uncle Jerry Boone, Jr. (Mable) of Gates; and her friends, Rev. Penestine Hawkins Lee and Paulette Boone Lawrence. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
When she returned to Gates after her retirement, she rejoined Stoney Branch and remained a faithful member until Alzheimer's disease began to cause her mental decline.
