She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest McCray and Pearline McCray; and her son Juan Antonio McCray. She is survived by: her granddaughter LaKeisha Rene'e McCray-Ham (Charles) of Woodbridge, VA; her great grandchildren, Antonio McCray, Alecia McCray and Chania Ham; and her siblings, Lauretta McCray of Suffolk, VA, Ernest McCray of Reading, PA and Timothy McCray of Suffolk, VA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thanks to her caregiver Cynthia Gray, for taking care of Quindell for all these years while she was battling Alzheimer.

“My condolences to all of you. She is irreplaceable and i loved her. I am saddened by Quin’s death. She was a mother to me when i moved to VaBeach. She made me laugh, yelled at me a couple of times and shared her cigarettes with me too. I still have the red leather gloves she gave me in the early 90’s.
