He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Lewter Pond Sr. and Margaret Parker; his sister Julia Brady; and his former wife Sylvia Brown of Danville. He is survived by: his brother Jeffrey Pond; his wife Joyce Brinkley Pond; his son Richard Pond III (Jennifer Patton); his grandchildren, Joelle (Nathaniel) and Nicole; his son Douglas Pond (Alison Sadler); his grandchildren, Sierra, Alexandra, Evan, Mark and Blair Brinkley; and his children, Hunter, Anne Thomas, Trey, Kimberly Park, Olivia, Emma, Michael, Amanda Reeder, Austin, Abigail and Jacob. He is also survived by married in 2016; his children, grandchildren.
