He is survived by: his grandchildren, Megan Jackson (Direll), Morgan Gavin and Brennan Gavin (Victoria); his great grandchildren, Christian, Cara, Chloe, Direll, Jr., Jackson, Kaleigh Boals, Abbigail, Olivia Breuhl, David Lethig, Braydon, Mila and Emerie Gavin; and his great great grandchild Azariah. He is also survived by nephews, nieces and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Foster Funeral Home (1926 High St, Portsmouth, VA 23704). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the All Saints Catholic Cemetery (2701 Elm Ave, Portsmouth, VA 23704).
