He was predeceased by: his father L. Homer Johnson. He is survived by: his mother Jane Crowley Johnson; his siblings, D. Anthony Crowley (Beverly), Angela J. Stepp (David) and Kate Johnson Rehard; and his nieces and nephews, Samantha Briley (Gary), Tiffany Baggett, Luke Johnson and Chris Stepp.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home, P.O. Box 727, Wakefield, VA 23888 in Robert's name to help with funeral expenses.
