He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ellen Chavis Gay and Nathaniel Chavis; his wife Jettie; his brother David Ray Chavis; his children, Donna Belcher, Patricia and Bobby Lee Jr.; his son-in-law Eddie Belcher Sr.; his grandchildren, Eddie Jr., Lea, Anna, Lexi, Jaida and Joey; his great grandchildren, Finn and Saylor; and his siblings, Carolyn (Wayne Evans), Karen (James Whitley), Larry (Cindy Chavis), Nat (Lori Chavis), Harry (Debbie Chavis), Don (Tina Chavis) and Keith Chavis. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
