He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Clair Mowery and Helen Marie Baldwin Mowery; and his siblings, Margaret "Peggy" Dowdell and William Mowery. He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Ellis Mowery; his children, John Ellis Mowery, Lisa Dawn Fisher (Michael) and Barbara Lynn Laughead (Michael); and his grandchildren, Alyson B. Hardin, Jenna Mowery, Jessica Mowery, Casey Mowery, Jason Fisher, Kelly Van Veldhuizen (Eric), Kristopher Ratliff (Daina) and Kyle Ratliff (Erica). He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
