He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert S. Hicks, Sr. and Mary Lankford Hicks; his in-laws, Raymond and Lucille Haughton; his sister Mary Esther Parker; and his siblings-in-law, Gloria Woods, J. Raymond Haughton, Judson Jones, Junior Parker and Ray Presnell.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Lynn Hicks; his children, Robert S. Hicks III (Nicole) and Christina L. Lonberger (Dave); his sister-in-law Delores Haughton Presnell; his nieces, Tiffany Walker Miller and Robin Tugwell; his nephew Tommy Walker, Jr. (Cristen); his great-nephews, TJ Jones III and Billy Martin; his grandchildren, Chloe Lynn Harris, Cole Ford Hicks and Jason Steven "Baby Jay" Miller; and his great grandchild Blaike Lonberger.
