He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Colgate Whitehead and Ruth Ashe Whitehead; and his sister Margie W. Baker. He is survived by: his wife Edith Whitehead; his daughters, Yvette Whitehead and Sabrina Widmeyer (Francis); and his grandchildren, Austin Slade Widmeyer and Adalyn Yvonne Widmeyer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
