Ames; his children, Andre'Norfus (Takenya) and Chevon Ames; his siblings, Eunice Shands of Baltimore, MD, Frances Love (Dexter) of Niceville, FL, Shirley Clayton of Upper Marlboro, MD, Leroy Ames, Jr. (Reva) of Ft. Worth, TX, Robert Ames (Delores) of Norfolk and Charles Ames of Norfolk, VA; and his grandchildren, Adriana Norfus, Andre'Norfus, Jr. and Tianna Carter. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel (900 E Washington St, Suffolk, VA 23434). A celebration of life was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home, Inc. (900 E Washington St, Suffolk, VA 23434). A burial was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at the Carver Memorial Cemetery (2320 E Washington St, Suffolk, VA 23434).
