She was predeceased by: her brothers, Luther Ricks and Owen Ricks Jr.; her son Jeffery Lee; and her grandson TraQuinn Giles. She is survived by: her sons, Angelo Lee (Jill) and Julius Davis (Nikia); her sister Cynthia Ricks-Luster (Peter); and her grandchildren, Taquina Smith, Jaynise Smythe, Tajanique Lee and Jayla Davis. She is also survived by great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel (900 E Washington St, Suffolk, VA 23434). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home, Inc. (900 E Washington St, Suffolk, VA 23434). A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at the Carver Memorial Cemetery (2320 E Washington St, Suffolk, VA 23434).
