She is survived by: her children, Alan Boone (Renee) of Suffolk, VA and Sherry Boone-Thompson of Portsmouth, VA; and her sisters, Odessa Harris of Suffolk, VA and Oris Harris of Elizabeth City, NC. She is also survived by six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends.
