He was predeceased by : his parents, Frances Elder Turner and Stanley Ray Turner (S. Ray); and his mother-in-law Jean Goodrich. He is survived by : his wife Robin Jeanne Turner; his children, Laura (Rob Reid), Abbie (David Meier) and James (Amanda Willett); his grandchildren, Owen Reid, Ruby Reid, Gracie Willett and Hallie Meier; his sisters, Raye Atkins and Barbara O'Brien; his sisters-in-law, Phyllis Cox (Carson) and Marsha Lightsey; his friends, Darden and Sheila Stallings; and also Helen Worthington. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, his first wife.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Funeral Home and Crematory, Downtown Suffolk Chapel (509 W Washington St, Suffolk, VA 23434).
