She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertha Rice and G. Carl Towe; her brother Thomas; and her sister-in-law Joyce Towe. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Eugene "Gene" Hackney; her daughters, Jean H. Lilly (Frank) and Debbie H. Lankford (Wayne); her grandchildren, Edward F. "Ted" Lilly, Kristen Lankford Dietrich (Andrew), Laura Lilly Zasoski (Evan), Ryan W. Lankford (Emilie) and John Thomas "Tom" Lilly (Lucy); her great grandchildren, Colette, Holden Dietrich, Dot, Teddy Zasoski, Rhoades and Robert Lilly; and her brother Clyde M. Towe (Shirley). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
