She was predeceased by: her parents, James McMurtry and Lillie McMurtry; and her brother James R "Jim Bob" McMurtry. She is survived by: her husband John "Bill" Wynn; her sons, David (Cheryl) and Daryl (Suzanne); her grandsons, Alex (Sara), Joshua and Christopher Wynn (Meaghan); and her great grandchild Leah Wynn.
A memorial service was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jackson Memorial Baptist Church (4316 Bruce Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23321).
