It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tevin L. Jones of Suffolk, Virginia, who passed away on November 25, 2024, at the age of 30, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Tevin shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Tevin farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his parents, Calvin Nowell Jones, Sr. and Laurice Whitehead Savage; his children, Noah Jones (Virginia) of Suffolk and Morgan Jones of North Carolina; his siblings, Calvin Nowell Jones, Jr. of Suffolk, Brandon Brown of Suffolk, Calvin Brown of Suffolk, Delicia Whitehead of Suffolk Virginia, Omika Douglas Raven Jones (Tony) of Suffolk Virginia and Shakirra Jones of Suffolk Virginia; and his grandmother Hattie Smith Newport News. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the T. E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home (405 Johnson Ave, Suffolk, VA 23434). A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Ministries Church (307 County St, Suffolk, VA 23434). A burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at the Carver Memorial Cemetery (2320 E Washington St, Suffolk, VA 23434).
