He was predeceased by: his siblings, Marion Lee Taylor (Tony), Lula Mae Wiggins (Lee Herman), Queen Holland (Richard), Theodore Hunter (Alma), James Dildy and George Hunter; his nieces, Patricia Hunter Johnson, Toya Hunter Baker, Betty Jean Dildy Goodman and Dorothy Taylor; and his parents-in-law, James "Bubba" Hall, Kate, Junious Copeland, Melvin Demiel and Vernell Demiel Outland.
He is survived by: his wife A. Beatrice Hunter; his children, Clifton Hunter, Sr. (Brenda), Margaret Rodgers (William), Carolyn Dorman (William), Thomas E. Hunter, Sr. (Angelia), Theodore Hunter (Lora) and Tabatha Hardiman (Samuel); his sisters, Mary Dildy and Virginia Dildy; and his siblings-in-law, Evelyn Copeland, Jane Potts (Jeff), Gloria Nicols (Ronald), Marion Rountree (Gary), Emma Hall, Willie T. Hall, Jr. (Brenda) and Kenneth Hall (Denise). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
