She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Harris and Alexander Harris, Jr.; and her brother Benjamin Harris. She is survived by: her brother Adam Gainous; and her aunt Margaret Ann Vann. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; extended family.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the East End Baptist Church (1056 Portsmouth Blvd, Suffolk, VA 23434).
