She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Royster Askew and Luke Royster; her husband James Evans; and her siblings, Luke Royster, Jr., Leon Royster, Jr. and Annette Askew.
She is survived by: her children, Yvette Royster, James Evans, Jr. and Leander Hardy; her siblings, Shirley Braver, Nancy Conyers, Diana Askew and James Royster; her grandchildren, Chelsea, Jasmine, Ayanna, Izayah and Devin; and her goddaughter Natoni Washington. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
