He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Boone and Ava Boone; and his brother Charles Arnold Boone. He is survived by: his wife Jean Marie Bradley Boone; his children, Tonia Boone and Andre Boone; his grandchildren, Rev. Stephen Cheeks (Rosalyn), Pastor Steven Cheeks (Maxine), Karen Delesandro (Jerry) and Joya Tynes (John); and his siblings, Vernice Chalmers (Marvin), Lonnell Boone (Stella), Audrey Watson, Glenda Simmons (Arthur), Gloria Boone and Sharon Elam. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
