He was predeceased by : his father Wholley Russell Geister; and his brother Andrew Kidd. He is survived by : his mother Linda Mueller Rockett; his sister Laura Geister; his nephew Aaron Geister; his great-nephew Owen Geister; and his stepsiblings, Vernon Rockett and Corie Rockett.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Church of the Resurrection (3501 Cedar Ln, Portsmouth, VA 23703). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
