He is survived by: his brother Gene Cherry; his nieces and nephews, William and Adrian Peoples; his wife Mary Mayfield-Peoples; his children, Sherrel, Victor, Darrian and Christopher; his sisters, Vivian Delores, Evelyn, Joyce and Sandra; his sister-in-law Joanne White (Willie Eason); his cousin Mona Jones; and his brothers-in-law, Fredrick Brown, Herman Mayfield, Donald Mayfield, Keith Mayfield and Kevin Mayfield. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
