As we bid Willie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Willie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He is survived by: his children, Margarita Williams, Stacey Eley, Ricky Hall and Dontrail Hall; his siblings, James G. Hall, John Luther Hall, Jr. and Jackie Hall; and his friend Denise Reese. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the T. E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home (405 Johnson Ave, Suffolk, VA 23434). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Oak Grove Baptist Church (2635 E Washington St, Suffolk, VA 23434). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery East Washington (2635 E Washington St, Suffolk, VA 23434).
