With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Danny Dempsey of Sugar Grove, Virginia, who passed away on June 23, 2025 at the age of 73. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Danny Dempsey to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Warren "Ringeye" and Ruby Combs Dempsey; and his sister Wanda Hayden. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Dempsey; his daughters, Jennifer Greer (Travis), Hope Overbay (Jim) and Jessica Hinson (Chris); his grandchildren, Brady Roberts, Abbie, Mollie Cregger, Garrett, Walker, Kelsey Overbay, Ethan and Emily Hinson; his siblings, Charlotte Eller, Dale Dempsey, Wiley Dempsey, Regina Osborne, Jason and Terry; and his son Charlie.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fraziers' Seaver-Brown Chapel (237 E Main St, Marion, VA 24354). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 10:45 AM and at 11:00 AM.
