With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Wayne Combs (Sugar Grove, Virginia), who passed away on July 29, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Gayle Combs and Ora May Combs. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Burkett Combs; his sons, Douglas Wayne Combs, Jr. (Shannon) and Daniel T. Combs (Tony Pierson); his siblings, Diane Chambers (Dallas), Elizabeth Aker (Mike), Sherman Combs, Jr. (Gayla) and Gwyn Combs (Sue); his grandsons, Danny (Ashley) and Henry (Kaitlyn); and his great grandchildren, Joziah, Khloe, Waylon, Lexie, Madalyn and Annabell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
