She was predeceased by: her husband Harvey Ortmyer; her brother James Timothy Sullivan; and her parents, Lawrence Sullivan and Florence Sullivan. She is survived by: her children, Wendy Merwin, Rodney Ortmyer and Stacey Edwards (Brian); her siblings, Larry Sullivan (Shelley), Yvonne "Bubbie" Cannon and Leita Bennett (Timothy); her grandchildren, Samantha Watkins, Caitlyn Watkins, Wesley Johnson, Brooke Edwards and Hunter Edwards; and her great grandchildren, Ariel Johnson, Emma Leach and Carter Thomas.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that charitable donations be made in her honor to cancer research organizations.
