It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Shelton (Surry, Virginia), who passed away on August 9, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Ernest Posey and Mintoria Posey; her brother Ernest Larry Posey; and her husband Eddie Shelton. She is survived by : her son Jeff Joyce; her grandchildren, Sean Joyce of New Jersey and Kerry Joyce of New York; and her sister Mattie Payne of Pilot Mountain.
