With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Richard Rowell of Surry, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 3, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Francis Rowell and Vella Kincaid Rowell Garrison; and his wife Lois Jean Peck Rowell. He is survived by: his sister Ellen Rowell Martin (Tommy); his daughters, Tracey Rowell Caudill and Angela Rowell Barry (Robert); his grandchildren, Emma Clontz, Hannah Barry, Haley Clontz, Holden Barry, Hayes Barry and Grey Caudill; and his sibling's children, Robin Martin Howorka (Gary), David Martin and Sue Martin Bambery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the National Kidney Foundation in his memory.
