He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Buddy Martin and Rosa Hairston Martin; his sisters, Bernice McClane, Lucy Belle Casey and Virginia Martin Hairston; and his son-in-law Anthony Hairston.
He is survived by: his wife Rosa Lee Hairston Martin; and his children, Cassandra Dandridge (Mark) of Martinsville, VA, Cynthia W. Hairston of Martinsville, VA, Ramona C. Hairston (Jonathan) of Martinsville, VA and Michael Hairston (Joan) of Laurel, MD. He is also survived by five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives, and friends.
