She was predeceased by: her parents, Clay Niemeyer and Mary Niemeyer. She is survived by: her sisters, Cindy Nelson (Rick) and Joan Boyle (Jerry); her sons, Daniel DiSalvo (Amanda) and Dennis DiSalvo (Heather); and her grandson Grayson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to a local animal rescue or shelter in Cheryl's memory, reflecting her lifelong love for animals, or simply asking that you hug your loved ones a little tighter in her honor.
