She was predeceased by: her husband Sam Cox. She is survived by: her children, Courtney Livesay (Brad), Ashby Daniels (Beth), Shelton Daniels (Jen), Mitchell Cox, Baker Cox (Courtney) and Aaron Cox (Peyton). She is also survived by ten grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the R. W. Baker & Company Funeral Home (11414 General Mahone Hwy, Wakefield, VA 23888). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Bacon's Castle Baptist Church (86 Bacons Castle Trail, Surry, VA 23883). A reception was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made in Donna's name to either Bacon's Castle Baptist Church at 86 Bacon's Castle Trail, Surry, VA 23883, or to Relay for Life, supporting a cause that was so dear to her heart.
