He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Vaughn Emmerson and Elizabeth Crowe Emmerson; his wife Jane Oleyar of Flushing, Michigan.; and his children, Charles Leonard Emmerson and Elizabeth Anne Fuller (Missy).
He is survived by: his sons, Frank V. Emmerson III and Richard C. Emmerson (Jeanne); his grandchildren, Nathaniel, Tabor, Allyson Emmerson, Andrew, Joshua, Alana Fuller, CarlyJane and Hunt Emmerson; his great grandchildren, Jordan, Eliot, Briggs, Rhett and Phoebe; his niece Lise; and his nephew Hans.
