He was predeceased by : his parents, Sidney Judkins and Hazel Judkins; and his brother Sid of Surry. He is survived by : his wife Gloria Lane Judkins; his son Daniel Thomas Judkins (Jennifer) of Surry; his stepdaughters, Caitlin Fauth (Adam) of Spokane and Nikki Callaway (Buddy) of Wanchese; his grandchildren, Reid, Walker and Hayes of Surry; his stepgrandchildren, Abbey, Daniel, Oliver, Willow, David of Spokane, Washington and Leann Schlachte; and his caregivers, Trish, Carmen and Shay.

In lieu of flowers, the family asked donations in Tommy's name be made to the Surry Volunteer Fire Department PO Box 260 Surry, VA 23883 or Walter S Newman FFA Chapter with checks made payable to Windsor High School 24 Church Street Windsor, VA 23487.
