She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harry Searles and Eleanor Davis; her sister Lee Archer; her husband Steve Delgado; and her children, Nolan, Rachel Delgado and Virginia.
In a final act of philanthropy, Valerie has chosen to donate her body to science. Donations in her memory can be made to the Isle of Wight County Humane society.
