He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Susan Godfrey (Fischer); his parents, Robert Reed Godfrey and Rose Jean Heins; his siblings, Wayne Godfrey (Janet) of Louisville, KY and Rose Elliott (Richard) of Albuquerque, NM.; his children, Erin Godfrey (Lori) of Kennesaw, GA, Patrick Godfrey (Karla) of Wingate, NC, Robert Godfrey and Peter Godfrey (Amanda) of Abingdon, VA.; his grandchildren, Madison, Owen, Lila, John Godfrey, Katilyn Hughart (Ryan) and Alanna Godfrey (Matt Ghant); and his great grandchildren, Ethan and Callen Hughart.
