We bid farewell to John W. Conner of Sussex, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 29, 2025 at the age of 74. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Page and Elizabeth; and his brothers, Alan, Roger and Bobby.
He is survived by: his wife Becky B. Conner; his children, John Houle (Annie), Diane Kenton, Jennifer Cooke (Dewey) and Todd Jarratt (Sandy); his grandchildren, Angie Houle, Madison Houle, Allyx Kenton, Arin, Nathan Kenton, Aidan Kenton, Ryan Kenton, Zach Banty (Sydney), Ryan Jarratt, Tyler Jarratt, Aidan Cooke, Kyle Jarratt, Brent Cooke (Shelby) and Austin Cooke (Killiney); his siblings, Wayne Conner, Donnie Conner (Sue), Billy Williams (Brenda), Chuck Conner (Rosario) and Tammy Knott (Kyle); and his sister-in-law Becky Conner. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Sussex Courthouse Volunteer Fire Department.
