It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carl Junior Davis (Swords Creek, Virginia), born in Mavisdale, Virginia, who passed away on February 4, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Over the years he donated his time, money and talent as a carpenter to several churches in the area before settling down and becoming a member at the Greens Chapel Church in Paintlick and in lieu of flowers, he requested that donations be made to the Greens Chapel Church in his memory. “Junior was one that I admired the most for his knowledge, wisdom, guitar playing and funny stories I have always remembered the most about him. Even the time he was using his bulldozer to re-grade the road up to the old homestead. I was very young but He lifted me up and let me ride beside him while he worked. Was the highlight of one of many great memories. Traveling around the Country, I get news from back home delayed. Wesley”
