He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Lee and Lona Hess Dye; his daughter Tina Louise Dye Cooper; his siblings, Sherman Lee Dye (Reba), Verl William Dye and Helen Keene; and his daughter-in-law Jennifer Dye.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Perkins Dye; his children, Dallas Roger Dye of Honaker, Michael Dean Dye (Adrin), Donna Denise Leith (Vick) of Huntersville and Pamela Regina Brown (Robert) of Richlands; his brother Doug Dye (Judy) of Swords Creek; and his sister-in-law Lois Dye. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
