She is survived by: her children, Nancy Brizendine Hillyer (Herb Osburn) of Tappahannock, Michael W. Brizendine (Janet) of Howerton and G. Scott Brizendine (Amy) of Warsaw, Virginia.; her grandchildren, Amanda Hillyer McCluskey (Zach) of Asheville, Dr. Ellen Garrett Hillyer (Dave) of Mechanicsville and Christopher Garrett Brizendine of Tappahannock; and her great grandchildren, Caroline Stuart McCluskey of Asheville, Peyton Gray McCluskey of Asheville and Mae Garrett McCluskey of Asheville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
