It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Aubrey Eugene Davis (Tappahannock, Virginia), who passed away on October 7, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Davis and Maggie Davis; and his brothers, Melvin, Irvin, James and Elwood.
He is survived by: his child Shirley Jean Davis; his grandchildren, Lenny (Krissy), Steve (Crystal), Dwayne (Rebecca), Troy (Karen) and Eugene Jr. (Mary); his great grandchildren, Eric, Lindsey (Donald), Emma, Atlee, Braelyn (Josh), Olivia (Rikk) and Brian (Dee); Byron and Luke.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Marks-Bristow Funeral Home (206 N Church Ln, Tappahannock, VA 22560). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Rappahannock Christian Church Cemetery (270 Ben Lomond Rd, Dunnsville, VA 22454).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Tappahannock-Essex Volunteer Fire Department in his honor.
