It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beatrice Stevenson of Tappahannock, Virginia, who passed away on April 30, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Gaines (Antoine) of Tappahannock, Patricia Stevenson of Tappahannock and Renata Artis of Washington, DC; and her siblings, Mary Holmes (Harry) of Caret, Jimmy Wright (Wanda) of Tappahannock, Dr. Patricia Wright of Washington, DC, Marie Wheeler of Maryland, Patsy Clarke Bridge of Maryland, Connie Wheeler of Florida and Van Wheeler of Tappahannock.
