It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tonya Winder Christy of Tappahannock, Virginia, who passed away on May 7, 2025, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Andy Christie; her mother Mary Jean Winder; her grandparents, Guy Daw Sr., Frances Daw, George Richard Winder and Mariondale Sirles Winder; her uncle George R. Winder, Jr.; and her aunt Edith Ohde.
She is survived by: her father John O'Neal Winder; her aunt Pat Robins; and her cousin Cheri Huggins. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
