It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine Lockhart of Tazewell, Virginia, who passed away on October 10, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Miles Sykes and Hattie Harrison Sykes; her husband William Jefferson Lockhart; and her siblings, Roger Sykes and Carol Noakes.

She is survived by : her daughters, Carolyn Lynn McCoy of Tazewell, VA and Marybeth McReynolds (Duane) of Tazewell, VA; her grandchildren, Carrie Beth Davis of Tazewell, VA, Taylor Desiree Vance of Tazewell, VA and Brandon Lane McReynolds of Tazewell, VA.; and her great grandchildren, Blake, Chase, Quinn, Kannen and Aeliza.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home, 232 Ben Bolt Avenue, Tazewell, VA 24651.
