He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Lang Barringer and Anne Wynne Allen Barringer; and his brother Benjamin S. Barringer. He is survived by: his wife Wendy Leigh Stump Barringer; his son Benjamin C. Barringer of Abingdon, VA.; his granddaughters, Ruby, Emersyn and Hattie; his sisters, Anne Wynne Rogg of New Milford and Reverend Emily Fisher Edmondson of Chilhowie, VA; and his pets, Roscoe, Tank and Gurty.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Virginia Ag in the Classroom in memory of Judge Henry Barringer. Donations should be made payable to "Virginia Foundation for Agriculture in the Classroom," 12580 West Creek Parkway Richmond, VA 23238.
